Background Files Missing
Big Business 14 adds the Background File option in My Prefs. If the list is blank, you need to update your Big Business Client. On Windows, this measn Uninstall your current Client and download and install a newer one. On Mac, simple download and install and this will update your Client.
Misc Postings
Big Business 14.69 fixes a problem adding a fourth Posting in Misc. Postings window.
Misc. Postings are used in Aatrix Payroll, Checkmark Payroll, and PenSoft Payroll, as well as Misc. Sales, Misc. Bills, Misc. Bills (custom), Misc. Orders, and Misc.Checks.
When an amount is edited and Big Business automatically adds a fourth Posting (or higher) it is now properly positioned at the end instead of accidentally in the middle.
Tabbing In
Tabbing In lets you to type a Tab to go to first field on a new window to speed entry.
Big Business 14 updated all data entry windows and some are still missing this feature. For example, Big Business 14.69 fixes the Misc. Posting window to allow Tabbing In.
Big Business is designed to allow full keyboard operation. Tab works to move forward though fields, change the Sort column in Listing, and Shift-Tab works to go backwards.
Chapter 618 Aesthetics
Big Business' Aesthetics are secondary to its continuity. For continuity, it uses shared elements across systems. Each system displays differently defaulting to its own font, color palette, or common object such as a window or dropdown list diplayed uniquely.
The result is an aesthetic that could be termed, Industrial. Things are generally aligned for strength and scale while sacrificing pixel-perfection. This supports its modularity, translatability, contextualization, and various other long words for built for a purpose.
Hacking Backgrounds on Windows
Big Business Client keeps a folder of textures for Backgrounds. Do not add your own.
If you find an image, such as by Googling, Where does Windows keep Wallpaper files, you can copy files into Big Business 14 Client's subfolder /Resources/BBIcons/texture/
However, if your image it too small to cover the screen or too large to load quickly or any number of other possible problems it could go badly and you should play it safe.

Big Business Client keeps a folder of textures for Backgrounds. Do not add your own.
You could copy files into Big Business 14 Client's subfolder in Contents, Resources, BBIcons, texture, by first right clicking on Client and clicking Show Package Contents.
However, if your image it too small to cover the screen or too large to load quickly or any number of other possible problems it could go badly and you should play it safe.
Dark Light Backgrounds
Big Business 14 Backgrounds include Dark-Name and Light-Name files in Client App.
Select either and Big Business 14 will automatically switch on the Mac, on re-opening, but will not switch on Windows until this feature is better supported for Windows 12.
