Overview:
This document describes the process to adjust the balance for accounts after SetUp is complete.

Details:
The account balances entered during the SetUp are stored in a General Journal entry. This General Journal #0 will be given the data you specified during SetUp and is locked and cannot be adjusted once you have completed the SetUp Checklist. It is locked because of the complexity of the data contained inside. This journal will typically contain calculated amounts for the following accounts:

Accounts Receivable (the sum of your Customer balances)

Accounts Payable (the sum of all your Vendor balances)

Inventory (the sum all you Item Total Costs)

Current Year Earnings (all Income minus all Expenses for the Current Year)

Retained Earnings (Assets minus Liabilities minus other Equity)

Note: You should verify that the balances for these Accounts are correct before completing the SetUp process. (3122)

WooCommerce Advanced adds features and settings for WooCommerce Connect.

One is having Big Business connect to more than one WooCommerce enabled site. WooCommerce Connect settings now include a Listing name to keep them straight.

Accounting Toolbar shows the Account, Category, and Posting tools and searches.

Categories are the accounts you select for separating income and expense for reporting.

Accounts are all accounts including Categories and other accounts used for accounting, including Automatic Categories, Balance Sheet accounts, Banking accounts, and more.

Use the Account Card tool to enter information for new or existing accounts.

The Account Card can access all accounts, including:
- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable - for posting Customer or Vendor balances.
- Bank Accounts - record Bank Transactions to reconcile and Postings for accounting
- Categories - used to organize Income and Expense and other postings
- Inventory - for posting Total Costs for Inventoried Items
- Retained Earning, Current Year Earnings - calculated accounts for financial reporting

Big Business simplifies your accounting by letting you choose Categories as defaults to be used automatically for your Customers, Items, Vendors, Banking, or Stores.

For example, you can have Sales Income for products you sell and Service Income for your services. Or, have Retail Income or Wholesale Income, determined by customer.

You must have defaults, to start, and you can simply use these along with reporting by customer or by item, to see where you stand and keep flexibility as you grow.

Use the Category Card tool to manage accounts used as Categories.

Use the Journal tool to create new general journal entries.

Use the Journals tool to find and manage general journals.

Use the Postings tool to find and manage postings.

WooCommerce Advanced includes additional settings for WooCommerce Connect.

To start it features Default Customer--handy for mulitple stores--and Stores--ditto. Get lets you get an Order from your store so you can map any Custom Fields added.

WooCommerce Plugin supports custom features to extend WooCommerce Connect.

WooCommerce Connect is an Add-On that allows Big Business to connect to your WordPress and WooCommerce powered online store and get Customers and Orders.
Fully customizable and fully automatic, this turnkey solution does the heavy lifting.

WooCommerce Plugin lets you add more features if you ever need. Connect additional online stores, add Custom Fields, and enjoy complete customization and control.

Billing Name and Address are available for import in WooCommerce Connect. This may be helpful when using a Default Customer to put the Billing details in the Order.

Fields include Billing Name, Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Zip, Country, Phone 1, Phone 2, Email, Attention, and Address 3, which mirror shipping fields except for IDs.

If a Billing Name is imported, the Bill To copied from the Customer card is replaced.

Payment Method in WooCommerce Advanced lets you group Payments created from incoming WooCommerce Orders so they are easy to see, sort, and select as a group in the Deposit tool.

Big Business users who enable WooCommerce Connect have usually been entering manually and already have a Payment Method associated with WooCommerce for this purpose, so it is simply a matter of selecting in the WooCommcerce Settings to have automated entries match.

Note that mapping to Payment Method in your WooCommerce Mapping will overwrite this.

WooCommerce Default Customer lets you select a Customer to assign automatically to new orders. This may be helpful if you don't add new customers automatically.

You might create a Customer you call WooCommerce Orders for this purpose.

Within an Order you can import all contact information, so it is possible to use one Customer card for all WooCommerce orders. Or, use it to catch errors where a customer is not found and manually correct any Orders set to the Default Customer.

WooCommerce Salesperson lets you set an Employee to be assigned as Salesperson.

This setting applies to Auto-Connect,the fully automated option for getting new Orders from WooCommerce, and overrides the Salesperson assigned to the Customer.

If, for example, you have web stores for B2B Wholesale and B2C Retail, you might want B2B to assign a Customer's Salesperson and B2C to always assign "Web Store".

WooCommere Connect can automatically assign a Store to new Orders being imported.

Stores is an option for Big Business to help manage sales by store--including your different locations, brands, or e-commerce sites. Stores replace Channels, adding features and ease of use like presets for automatic accounting, cash drawers, and more.

This Solution tells you how to set Store for WooCommerce into Big Business. (7920)

WooCommerce Advanced Settings offers entries for Custom Timeouts to skip delays.

Entering 7 and 9 will give Big Business 7 seconds to connect and 9 seconds to process. If these entries are blank the default setting of three seconds and five seconds are used.
