For any Search (i.e. Customer, Quote, Order, Invoice, Receive Money, Vendor, PO, Bill, Item, Item Adjustment, Bank Account, Bank Transaction, Note, Contact, Employee, Category, Account, General Journal, Posting, etc.) click Export to save a Tab-Text file which you can use in a spreasheet or other program. Memorizing and Recalling QuickSearches
When you use Big Business, there are probably QuickSearches that you do over and over. For example, you may look for potential billing problems by searching for customers whose balance exceeds a certain amount.
To make it easier to perform these routine searches, Big Business Version 2.0 supports the Memorize and Recall feature for QuickSearches. BigBusiness includes a few different options for reporting commission for salespeople.
Simplest is to set a Rate on the Employee and use the Employee, Commission reports. Alternatively, set Commission on Items and use Employee, Item Commission reports.
Barcodes help you enter items, which then load their correct pricing based on settings.
Part Numbers, on the other hand, can include a Customer Price or Vendor Cost to use, but only work with their assigned Customer or Vendor and correct settings to activate.
Barcodes are a fast and accurate way to add items without typing or entering yourself.
Barcode Button appears on Item card for easy entry of barcodes and units for lookups.
Inactive lets you hide Customer or Items that you no longer use. Searches let you find them again, when you need. And adding the Inactive column lets you click to change.
Add(+) and choose Inactive to show a checkbox and include Inactives in your search. Or, use Find to search for Inactive, Is, Either for the same result (with less visibility).
Barcodes Unit Count lets you set the number of items in a barcoded package. This works with Units of Measure to select the correct Units for scanned items like cases.
Employee Reports now include variants using Landed Cost to estimate profitability.

Employee Reports help you measure sales, profits, and commissions for salespeople.
Barcodes Search help you manage barcodes you use for looking up items by scanning.
Barcodes might include any UPC's that are preprinted on products you buy and sell. If you break down, re-package, or split items you may have barcodes for each Unit.
You may also have different barcodes for the same item from different sources. Barcodes Search helps you review and manage these separately from Part Numbers.
