The WildCard character in Big Business is the at symbol, "@". This is the same character found in email addresses. Searching for "J@" would find "Jim", "John", and "Jane", for example.

Big Business gives you several options when searching text fields, so that WildCard searches are not needed:

• Is Equal To
• Is Not Equal To
• Begins With
• Contains

Qty Prices is a feature you turn on to add quantity price breaks on sales transactions.

Qty Prices are a complete feature set you turn on to enable:
• Qty Prices tab on the Item card for entering Qty's and their Prices
• Export and Delete options in Qty Prices Search
• Import options for bulk updates to Qty Prices

Big Business 14 updates the Qty Pricing Tab on the Item Card to improve useability.

Qty Pricing is separated from Item Pricing for clarity. As pictured, you see your price breaks for Qty's (10, 100, 200) sorted in ascending order. Click Add (+) for a new blank row and it goes on top (highlighted).

Qty Pricing is one of many optional tabs for items along with Item MRP, Price Levels, BigCommerce, and Shopify, pictured. Each is turned on separately so there are only three tabs to start. Go to Item Prefs, click Qty Pricing, and this will enable this feature.

Big Business includes several options for selling different Quantities at different prices.

There is a optional feature (for a paving stone distributor) that lets you key in one unit (square feet) on one row and converts to other units (pallets and eaches) on split rows. This works with Qty Pricing to automatically set bulk price (pallet) on bulk rows.

There is another feature (for beverage distributor) for splitting one item (drink cases) into other items (individual drinks) automatically, so the inventory is kept up-to-date. This does not require Qty Pricing because each item (cases and eaches) has its own item card to automatically avoid fractional items (one case minus one bottle leaves 23).

Super-Click Icons help you see where menu choices lead, like to a Search or a History.

Super-Click Replay rewrites each menu to add Actions to only the best Show options.

For example, Purchases shows Last Purchases and New Invoice creates a new invoice. You get the best Show menu options and most useful Action buttons.

Super-Click Sales options let you go from Quotes, Orders, Invoices to the Customer.

Qty Group provided an adverse user experience, not updating line one due to line two, changing results on partial invoices and mishandling additions on partial invoices.

Qty Prices Search is a tool for managing quantity pricing entries, which may be many.

Qty Prices Import assumes you are adding new entries for new price breaks and does not delete old or check for duplicates. If you do not Delete you may get duplicates.

To change prices, use the Qty Prices Search to Export and Delete. Then update the exported entries in spreadsheet and import anew.

Searches help you work with your data to quickly find details or related data you need.

Update is a tool on Searches that allows you to change many records at once, quickly.
