Memorize Errors

Big Business 14 is more strict and Memorize can show errors when opening, such as the pictured Array error.

This error from Bill, Recall is fixed in Big Business 13.57 and 14.17.


  Chapter 87 Memorize

Memorize lets you save searches and transactions for quick recall and even scheduling.

To use Memorize you must turn on Show Memorize in your Employee card, Access.

Then many entries like Searches with many search terms can be saved for later Recall. This chapter lists a variety of these options for standard use or further customization.




  Memorizing and Recalling Transactions

It's likely that your business has recurring transactions--bills that you pay every month or regular orders from customers, for example. To prevent your having to enter the same information over and over again, Big Business can memorize and recall transactions.
Memorizing a transaction saves everything in the current window under a name that you specify. Recalling a transaction places the information that you saved into a new window. You can make any necessary changes before saving or printing.

To memorize a transaction:
1. Fill in or open a window with the information you want to memorize.
2. Click the Memorize button.
3. In the dialog box that appears, enter a descriptive name, then click the
button.
The transaction is memorized and available for use.

To recall a memorized transaction:
1. Open a blank window.
2. Click the Recall button.
A list of memorized transactions appears.
3. Select the transaction you want and click the
double-click a transaction.
The memorized information appears in the window.
4. If necessary, make changes to the information.

To delete a memorized transaction:
1. Click the Recall button.
A list of memorized transactions appears.
2. Select the transaction you want to delete and click the
button.
