Pictures for Items
Picture Prefs let you choose to Show Images to see the Thumb Image on the Item card.
If you have Pictures added already in Upload, BigBusiness will create a Thumb Image.
Drag Photos
Drag Photos from Apple Photos into the Thumb Image in an Item card in BigBusiness.
BigBusiness saves the original in Docs and creates a Thumb Image using your settings. Thumb Images default to 1024 x 1024 PNG images ideal for printing and transparency.
Pictures Thumb
Pictures Thumb automatically creates a Thumb Image on the Item card from Pictures.
Drag any picture file and drop it into Thumb Image on item card and BigBusiness will create a high-quality thumbnail image and store the original, which may be ginormous.
This is all instant and optimized with customizable options for formats and archiving.
For clarity, Pictures usually refers to the originals and Images are sized and formatted.
Pictures PICT Error
PICT was an Apple Macintosh picture format that did not survive due to complexity.
The Database used for BigBusiness recognizes a huge number or picture formats, so you can drag in JPEG or PNG or TIFF, but not PICT. And old PICTs look like this...
If you see this icon it means your picture is PICT format and cannot be displayed. Unfortunately this means the picture needs to be recreated to be in a useable format.
