Online Help
The bigbusiness.com web site got a new framework for 2022. Function and layout are largely the same. Brash, brisk, and brief are the new guidelines. Some icons have been changed to protect their innocence. The purpose of the web site is to host online help.
The hope is that you click around and find some Solutions, Chapters, or Contents, and find something new that you can adopt, adapt, and iterate on.
The content of Big Business changes frequently, but the program stays the same. Changes are often additions, an option you turn on to do things differently, or not. So it is always perfectly safe to ignore the changes and keep doing what you're doing.
Invoice Landed
Landed Profit is an optional Tab on Quote, Order, and Invoice that shows Landed Cost, Landed Profit, and Landed Profit Percent. Turn it On to use these, and when you add items to transactions Big Business will add the Cost and the Landed Cost.
Later, when you Convert a Quote or an Order to an Invoice, Big Business puts in the current Cost and current Landed Cost. If your costs have changed since an Order was created, converting it to an Invoice will show the new, current Cost and Landed Cost.
Order Landed

Forms Landed
The Landed Cost (LC) option Landed Profit puts the LC Profit tab on Quote, Order, and Invoice that shows LC Cost, LC Profit, and LC Profit Percent for each item. Turn it On to use these, and when you edit your custom forms in the Forms tool, you will see these additional fields.
Auto Update
Update is the magic wand, quick change tool on Searches.
Auto Update is an automatic option, which is an Add-On, and lets you define changes that trigger updates. When the Terms on the Customer change, you want the magic wand applied to all their Open Orders.
Auto Update Settings
Auto Update Settings let you select the Fields you want Big Business to monitor and change.
