ShippingEasy gets your orders from Ebay, Amazon, Walmart, to handle the shipping.
BigBusiness gets your orders from ShippingEasy to handle accounting and fulfillment.
This chapter helps you manage orders coming from several online stores and handling accounting for each to ensure all sales and payments are easily recorded and reconciled.
Numerous setup options let you choose a workflow to make fulfillment fast and easy.
BigBusiness can create Customers from ShippingEasy Orders to help track your sales.
Because you may have multiple Stores connected to ShippingEasy, BigBusiness adds an import option on the Customers Map to identify each store by ShippingEasy Key.
The Stores option in BigBusiness lets you set Accounting, Payment Method and other presets for new Customers and lets you link ShippingEasy Stores by key to automate.
ShippingEasy brings in orders from multiple stores, so BigBusiness matches them to a Store entry that assigns presets such as Customer Terms or Payment Type on import.
For example, go to Store on the System toolbar, click New and create one for Amazon. On Store Prefs click the ShippingEasy Store quickpop and choose your Amazon store.
Now you can set Customer Terms for new customers and Payment Type for invoices. This will make it easier to Deposit and easier to reconcile when Amazon settles these.
ShippingEasy Payments from multiple stores can each be assigned a Payment Method.
Price is an optional field when connecting your web store since you control all content.
ShippingEasy Orders automatically map the Price since you may have different prices.
ShippingEasy Errors are written to a file that you can save after an import reports any.
Included in the file are specific errors for any problems encountered and alert messages. Also included is the download file which shows the original data you may want to see.
ShippingEasy Orders can get 200 orders at a time, but needs a little more time to do so.
ShippingEasy Settings let you change your defaults from 50 orders per request, to 200. In doing so, you may need to increase the Timeouts used by ShippingEasy Connect.
Set ShippingEasy Timeouts to 60 (seconds to connect) and 60 (seconds to process). This will avoid Curl Error 28, telling you the defaults of 5 and 7 are not quite enough.
Filter fields in ShippingEasy are Is Redacted, Is Duplicate, Is Return, Shipment Type.
By reading these fields, BigBusiness is able to ignore "updates" that are not applicable.
Filter fields are mapped automatically and if you want to change them use Clear Row.
Is Redacted is an important Filter field, telling that Amazon erased names from orders.
Amazon updates orders after 30 days, changing names and addresses to REDACTED.
BigBusiness reads the Is Redacted flag field to know to ignore this "update" to orders.
ShippingEasy lets you create Duplicate orders you may want BigBusiness to ignore.
Map orders/recipients/original_order/grab_bag/is_duplicate to Is Duplicate to skip 'em. This is done automatically for Automatic settings and preset ShippingEasy Mappings.
ShippingEasy lets you create Return orders which you may want BigBusiness to skip.
Map orders/recipients/original_order/grab_bag/is_return to the Is Return to skip these. This is done automatically for Automatic settings and preset ShippingEasy Mappings.
Shipment Type is an important field telling us when, for example, a return label is sent.
In addition to creating a Return copy of an Order, ShippingEasy will let you simply print a "return" label to send for a return request. BigBusiness will ignore this action.
BigBusiness reads the Shipment Type to know to ignore when a return label is sent.
Ship Date is available from ShippingEasy as YYYY-MM-DD and is updated to work.
The mapping window says the Format allowed is mm/dd/yy but this is an exception. The Date must match YYYY-MM-DD or will not be imported and defaul to today.
ShippingEasy Auto-Run is not added yet to automate the continuous import of orders.
ShippingEasy Orders runs in batches to invoice at end of day and reconcile shipments.
To process, import Customers, then import Invoices, then repeat Customers to check. ShippingEasy allows a maximum of 200 orders per batch including Redacted or Return.
ShippingEasy Reported helps you work without interruption when using Auto-Pilot.
Auto-Pilot combines batches into one flight, and Auto-Run runs flights non-stop daily. Both report back to you in a Note, which you can receive as an email, with full details.
Say you use the Auto pulldown to get new batches of customers and orders processed. If there is any alert, you will receive a Note saying "ShippingEasy Reported (8423)" ...
