Chapter 23 PDF

PDF options in BigBusiness let you email forms, seamlessly, and order custom forms.

PDF support has evolved from using built-in features of the Mac, and scripting, to industrial strength tools like PDF Emailer for Windows and PDF Plugin for any need.



  PDF Plugin

PDF Plugin is new in BigBusiness 15 to enable any advanced PDF features on the fly.

PDF Emailer for Windows is included with BigBusiness to create and email any forms. BigBusiness for Mac uses the Mac's built-in PDF feautures and scripting for the same.

PDF Plugin is a step beyond, for combining hundreds of documents without a hitch, for custom output with overlays or enterable fields, adding security, and much more.



  PDF Emailer

PDF Emailer lets Big Business Client for Windows send PDFs using Microsoft Outlook.

To use, download and install PDF Emailer, then in My Prefs choose Advanced for Print Options and Microsoft Outlook for Email Client. When you are saving a Quote, Order, or Invoice in Destination you can choose Email, Send Email To, Save As PDF.



  PDF Sent

Sent PDF keeps copies of PDFs sent by emailing or saving PDFs from transactions.

Saving an invoice, the Advanced Print Options let you Email or Save As PDF to send.

Enable Sent PDF in Company, Advanced to have a copy automatically saved in Docs.



  PDF Paid Badge

Paid Badge will appear in color on PDFs that BigBusiness creates for email, Docs, etc..



  PDF Reset

PDF Reset is an optimiztion for Windows and in particular Remote Desktop Server or Terminal Services, for printing PDF's and resetting the PDF Printer.

Big Business includes PDF Emailer for sending pdf's of transactions using Outlook.
