Users Settings shows or hides the Settings tab in My Prefs. If you Hide Settings, users will not be able to change Settings themselves.

Inactive Prefs control whether you see records that are marked Inactive.
Choices for Inactive Prefs are:
System Setting (recommended)
Show Settings
Hide Settings
To set User Settings:
1. Go to the Employee toolbar to My Prefs
2. For User Settings choose a setting
3. Click OK to save My Prefs
To set User Settings for your Company:
1. Go to the Company Card to the Settings tab
2. For User Settings choose a setting
3. Click OK to save the Company Card
