Chapter 13: The Accounts & Categories Window (3) (6155)
To add a new account or category:
1. Click the Add (+) button in the Accounts & Categories window.
A new line appears at the end of the list. It is blank except for the Account Type column, which is the same as the entry before it in the list.
2. Choose the Account Type.
3. If the new entry is a bank account, choose the Bank Account Type.
4. Type the code of the account or category into the Account Code column.
5. Type the name of the account or category into the Account Name column.
6. Type the balance into the Balance column.
7. Repeat steps 1 through 6 for each new account or category.
