Images helps you manage pictures you have saved in Big Business to meet your needs.
With the option to Drag into Thumb Image, you can add files to keep or Send in email. BigBusiness will automatically create a smaller image to show or load quickly in Items.
This chapter helps you set options to automactically convert Pictures you have saved. If you want to add images to emails, quotes, printouts, or PDFs, it will help there, too.
Thumbnail images are reduced-size versions of pictures or files used for fast display.
Big Business includes the option to display the Thumb Image on the Item card to help you identify the item. The Thumb Image will be automatically created to load quickly.
Pictures added with the Upload tool for ecommerce and documents added in the Docs tool will be eligible for use as Thumb Images with options to view or email the original.
Thumb Image is an optional field, appearing on the Item card, which is a reduced-sized.
When you Drop an picture file into Thumb Image, Big Business automatically stores the original full-quality picture and makes the thumbnail image to display on the Item.
To test the Thumb Image, go to MyPrefs, User Settings, Picture Prefs and choose Show Images.
Double-Click is a shortcut to drill down to original data, in this case the attached image.
Thumb Image is an optional field, starting on Item card, where you can Drop a picture. Big Business will automatically attach the original picture in Documents folder (Docs). Thumb Image will create a reduced-size version of the picture to display on Item card.
Double-click to open the picture. The picture also appears in Docs folder where you can Open, Edit, or click Send to make it available to email with Quote, Order, Invoice.
Images Controls are part of the Images Add-On to help customize upload and sharing.
Images is a tool on the Controls toolbar where BigBusiness will have convert options. If you have Pictures added in Upload, these can be converted to faster Thumb Images.
Images Transform automatically resizes too-small pictures for showing on Item card.
Double-clicking an image converted from an Upload picture will open as file in viewer. Double-clicking images added by Drag-and-Drop will open the original stored in Docs.
Convert Pictures uses existing Upload images to create Thumb Image on the Item card. Double-clicking to view, opens the picture as a file in a picture viewer on your system.
Images converts Photos dropped into Thumb Image to give pictures of high quality with high speed for daily use and store the original in Docs.
Images Creation automatically creates images used for printing and showing as thumbs. Format settings for cropping, compressing, and preserving transparency are preset.
Big Business can automatically create images for printing, reducing from a full picture to a size appropriate to a Quote, Order, or Invoice fitting a few items and their images.
Images Controls may offer options for converting Upload Pictures added in the past and to set quality for pictures dragged and dropped into Thumb Image on Item card.
Upload on the Item card lets you add high-quality pictures for upload to a web catalog.
Convert Pictures helps use these as images in Big Business by converting and re-sizing.
Images Trial lets you turn on Images Controls to set preferences for image handling. This option is not needed unless you request custom formats for your company uses.
Images are optimized versions of pictures of your items that display on the Item Card, Items Search, and printouts like, Quote with Images, while saving the original in Docs.
This option is designated for customization if you company needs specific formats for conversions to send images to services, in email, or upload to web store or ecommerce.
