Big Business includes features for Inactive Accounts on the Account Card which also:
removes from Account Listing
removes from Category Listing
removes from Bank Account Listing
This Solution describes these features. (6245)
The Inactive Checkbox lets you mark records Inactive.
Clicking the checkbox for a Customer removes their name from the Listing--used to choose customers on transactions--and Customers Search, which also filters Reports.
Add(+) the Inactive column to Customers Search to see them again. Or, use Inactive on the Find dialog. Click the checkbox in Customers Search, if you have permissions.
Big Business checks the Components of Built and Bundle Items and prevents sales of items with components that have been marked Inactive.
You can mark Sold Items as Inactive and Big Business will disallow selling them. You can also mark component items as Inactive and Big Business will disallow selling Built Items that include them.
Inactive Sales Taxes is added as a customization to support a hybrid approach to Sales Taxes--using built-in Tax Status calculations alongside TaxJar or other automated lookup by address. Inactive blocks Tax Status entries that are marked as Inactive.
Click on the Inactive checkbox in the Sales Taxes search on Reporting toolbar to mark.
Inactive lets you hide or prevent the use of entries that are marked Inactive, including:
Accounts
Contacts
Customers
Employees
Items
Vendors
Inactive has been updated on Employee cards to work in conjunction with Load Only. Load Only is the option in Employee Prefs to remove entries with Termination Dates. Inactive works for Sign In using Company Prefs and with My Prefs after you sign in.
Big Business extends Inactive settings to Imports and connections like Shopify.
When you turn on Inactive Prefs for your system it prevents selling of Inactive Items. Now, Imports and sales connections like Shopify Connect, exclude Inactive Items, too.
Please email support@bigbusiness.com if you need help configuring.
