Invoice Prefs are found in Customer Prefs and include:
Next Invoice # - set the next number to be assigned to new Invoices
Credit Verification - Allow, Warn User, or Prevent Save of Invoices for Customers on Credit Hold or over their Credit Limit
Default Payment Method - set the Payment Method to be assigned to new Receive Money records, or during the Customer Receipts Import
Sell Into Negative Quantity - Allow, Warn User, or Prevent Save of Invoices that could overdraw inventory
Default Entry Tab - set the Order or Expanded Order tab as the default to be displayed when a Sales Order is opened
Print In Notes Field - automatically include Customer Code, Customer Listing, Total Quantity, Quote Number, Order Number, Payments Applied, or Boilerplate text, including Replacement Tags to Insert any Field from the Customer Card, in the Notes box when printing built-in Invoice forms.
Print Continuation Message for Multi-Page Invoices - display a message such as "Continued on the following page" instead of showing totals at the bottom of each page when printing built-in Invoice forms.
To change Invoice Prefs:
1. Go to Customer Prefs
2. Click the button for Invoice Prefs
3. Make changes
4. Click OK to Save Invoice Prefs
5. Click OK to Save Customer Prefs
