Automatically Shipped

Automatically Shipped changes the Status of an Order to Shipped and sets the Orders Shipped checkbox for an order when a shipment is processed using the Shipping Connect Add-On which connects UPS, FedEx, or another system to Big Business.

This setting requires a restart of Big Business Server to take effect. Go to the Controls toolbar to MRP Settings and check the box for Automatically Shipped. Then, restart your Big Business Software to have this take effect.


  Sort Status

Sort Status is a checkbox in MRP Settings that changes the sorting for Show Allocated.

By default this option is Off and sorting is done by Ship Date for the allocaated Order.

When the Sort Status option is On, sorting is done first by Status, in descending order:
• Shipped
• Released
• Partial
• Placed


  Big Business API: Contact Info

Big Business API is an Application Programming Interface that lets you read and write, update and insert, and add or delete data from Big Business using an available connection such as Middleware (MySQL), ODBC, SQL, or Web (HTTP or HTTPS).

Contact Info is a structure for sending information about Contacts and Customers.

  iPad Customer Terms

Customer Terms adds terms for all Customers you preset in BizApp Orders for iPad. This shows their terms on New Orders to help you manage expectations and payment.

At a trade show, find your existing customers quickly, on the Customers tab on iPad. Tap on Create Order, to start an order with their Terms, Price Level, and so on, preset.

From anywhere in your warehouse, check Terms, Price Level or whatever key metrics you need at your fingertips, such as Ship Options or Ship Methods for your customer.


  iPad Customer Phones

Customer Phones adds phones for Customers you preset in BizApp Orders for iPad. This shows their Phone 1, Phone 2, Phone 3, and Phone 4 entries from Big Business.

At a trade show, or visiting a customer, you see their Phone entries from Big Business on the Customers screen on your iPad and can make changes to update Big Business.

From anywhere in your warehouse, quickly check Customer contact info including all their Phone entries, which you may need for order fulfillment.


  iPad Pricing

BizApp Orders, or another custom solution using Filemaker Go on iPhone or iPad, can automatically use Price Levels copied from Big Business or select Price Levels

iPad Pairing is the process of linking your iPad to your Employee card in Big Business.
