Units Protection prevents errors by setting Employees' Access for Cannot Edit Units.

This change is made for one on an Employee card or for many in an Employees Search, adding a column for Cannot Edit Units and using Update to change several at one time.

Units Defaults are updated in Big Business to make it easier to set units of measure.

Turn on Units of Measure in Item Prefs and then set defaults such as New Line Item, set to EA for each, and on New Item Cards, set to CS for case, PK for pack, and EA.

If you want to skip conversion, add EA (1) as a Unit for this Item and it will not be replaced.
