Ship To (Lookup)
Ship To is the name and address box that appears on-screen and on printouts and can be used to import text but it can also import Lookup values like an email for a Contact.
Import an Email Address to Ship To (Lookup) and BigBusiness will find the Customer or Contact, belonging to a Customer, to load their Shipping Name and Address details.
This function is extensible for custom lookups such as for large customers with Coded locations. Upload their locations as Contacts to use for automated purchasing import.
Folder Advanced
Advanced Setting for Folder Connect let you set defaults for importing download files.
Default Customer lets you choose the customer to use for new orders for a connection.
BigCommerce Upload
BigCommerce Upload is updated to select rows with Command-click for uploading.
Use the Find dialog and then the Filter--on the top row see "@jell"--and then clicking. Selecting just the items you want to Link-Only or Auto-Create makes it more intuitive.

BigCommerce Scopes
BigCommerce Scopes let you define access for your API account used by BigBusiness.
To use BigCommerce Connect II features to update Products your API Account must include Products in its Scope, as seen in the second account in the picture.
For security, you must create a new API Account entry to create one with new scope. Please contact support@bigbusiness.com if you need help with this.
BigCommerce Categories
BigCommerce Categories let you select groups to put Products in and are REQUIRED.
You cannot use Auto-Create features in BigCommerce Connect II without having assigned a Category for each new item. Once you set one Item use Update for others.
BigCommerce Auto-Create
BigCommerce Auto-Create lets you set Update Products on Auto-Create to create new Products in BigCommerce when you use the Upload option in Items Search.
Link-Only assumes your catalog is perfect and you just need to link Items to update. BigBusiness can set pricing and inventory on BigCommerce the minute it changes.
Auto-Create assumes you want to create new Products in BigCommerce for Items, too. Click Upload on Items and existing will be linked and new be added as possible.
Automation Access
Automation Access lets you allow an Employee to use automation controls and tools.
Folder Test
Folder Connect provides a Test button which shows the file(s) found in a target folder.
Go to Company card, Connect Settings, Folder and choose a connection and click Test.
This test shows one XML file found called PO_12345.xml followed by its size (1963).
If you are checking on an error or delay be sure to Cancel to avoid changes to settings. If Test does not show an error it is connecting and the cause may have resolved itself.
Folder Auto-Connect
Folder Auto-Connect automates the import and export of files from an online folder.
Folder Connect is the option in BigBusiness that lets you check online folders for files. Auto-Connect is the setting that allows it to run automatically and check for new files.
Go to Company card, Connect Settings tab, Folder button to view your connection(s). Any that have Auto-Connect selected are running--but paused while you view them.
Folder Filtering
Folder Connect finds the right files for importing from an online folder using File Kind.
It then reads the files to determine if they can be imported using Validation you preset.
For example, if you want CSV files automatically imported, choose .CSV for it to find. This will ignore other files to avoid errors and skip any presorting of your import files.
Folder Connect also lets you set Validation so it can read files, then decide to import. If you put "CustomerID=123" it would read the incoming files to choose only these.
Folder Connections
Folder Connect lets you have multiple connections to multiple folders for importing.
In Company card, Connect Settings tab, click Folder and you may see multiple listings.
These may connect to the same service but different folders or be for different services.
Folder Upload
Folder Connect lets you upload export files automatically, such as invoices.
Invoice Delivery
Invoice Delivery is an example of deep customization adding to an invoice for delivery.
ShippingEasy Registering
This Solution describes Registering ShippingEasy Connect.
To Register ShippingEasy Connect:
1. Go to System toolbar, Company card, and click Upgrade.
2. Click ShippingEasy to open the Registration dialog.
3. Enter your Registration code.
4. Click Continue.
5. Click OK on the Confirmation dialog.
6. Click OK to Save the Company card.
7. Quit and restart Big Business Client.
To register you will need a code from support@bigbusiness.com. This lets us check for conflicts and send the right instructions before you turn on.
Networking Toolkit Update
Networking Toolkit helps you connect to online services with speed and high security.
NTK serves many functions in BigBusiness including encryption for Connect options.
Accessing your online store, shipping, sales tax services,... requires speed and security.
NTK was updated for ShippingEasy Connect to leverage new encryption used therein. NTK can be used for any BigBusiness Open Edition project you need encryption for.
ShippingEasy Mapping
ShippingEasy Mapping lets you update the entries that are shared with ShippingEasy.
These settings are filled in automatically and used by choosing Automatic in settings. Go to Connect toolbar, ShippingEasy tool to create a mapping, and choose Save As.
Your new mapping can then be chosen in ShippingEasy settings by going to the System toolbar, Company card, Connect Setting tab, and clicking ShippingEasy setup.
ShippingEasy Store
ShippingEasy Store lets you assign a name for a setup for connecting to ShippingEasy.
ShippingEasy Endpoint
ShippingEasy Endpoint is for one Store in ShippingEasy Settings, Stores & Orders.
ShippingEasy Settings
ShippingEasy Settings include API Keys that you copy from ShippingEasy Account.
ShippingEasy Connect
ShippingEasy Connect helps you fulfill Orders using shippingeasy.com for shipments.
ShippingEasy automates shipping from popular web stores. ShippingEasy Connect lets BigBusiness add your Orders into ShippingEasy to automate shipping them, too.
This feature is being added for testing. Its purpose is sending orders to ShippingEasy for processing and fulfillment.
Unlock Date
Unlock Date helps you protect Locked periods in System Prefs from Unlock Periods.
Unlock Periods is a Special Access setting for an Employee to change locked periods. By setting an Unlock Date you limit changes to on or after the Unlock Date you set.
SQL Server
Built-in SQL Server is not needed or used. SQL is used internally, but for serving data, such as Shipping, an external database is used so that only select data is made available.
Shipping uses MySQL to share data, such as Addresses and Tracking for orders, only. MySQL has drivers for any systems, including 32-bit, making it ideal for connectivity.
Leave SQL Server in the BigBusiness Server turned off and install MySQL or Postgres. Contact support@bigbusiness.com if you need help with installation or configuration.
